About

Based in Paris, Jules Le Masson Fletcher is a Franco-Canadian Director of Photography (b. 1995) who brings a distinctive blend of artistic vision and advanced technical innovation to visual storytelling. His passion ignited early, directing an award-winning documentary short in Rwanda at age 15.

Following a move to Vancouver, he built extensive on-set experience in camera and lighting departments before a formative photographic apprenticeship in Ghana reshaped his perspective. Returning to Paris in 2018, Jules honed his craft working as a Gaffer and collaborating closely with renowned cinematographers and photographers, while developing his own distinct voice as a DoP.

Jules enhances his cinematography by integrating skills in 3D art and visual effects, alongside a unique engineering capability – designing and prototyping custom camera systems and innovative tools to meet creative challenges. His international experience is further demonstrated through documentary and press projects spanning Ghana, Canada, Ukraine, and France.

Currently working internationally as a Director of Photography and Photographer, his focus spans documentary, narrative, fashion, and commercial projects. His portfolio features collaborations with leading houses and publications, including Balenciaga, Hermès, Zara, Louis Vuitton, Dior Maison, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Air Afrique.
